Phillip Arbuckle


Philip Heckman Arbuckle was a college football coach at Louisiana Tech University and Rice University. From 1912 to 1923, he coached at Rice, where he compiled a 51258 record. His only losing season at Rice came in 1923, which makes him the most prolific football coach in school history. His 1919 team went 81, to mark his best season. In 1924, he coached at Louisiana Tech, where he compiled a 161 record.
